Kennel History
I have had kennel since 1999,
but I have only been a living room breeder. I have always been
surrounded by dogs even when I was a little girl. As an adult should
I of cause have a dog. My kids are grown up with dogs, witch have
been a good experience for every one.
I got my first Rottweiler in 1993, I bought her
trough Danish Race Union. Now I thought everything was I order,
because the dog had a Pedigree, but I became wiser. It was a good
dog but, we only had her for about 2 years , because she had HD and
burst leading – strings. I was very sad about that, but I had to
have a new dog. Now I had learnt of my first flaw, and took then a
lot of time to find the right dog this time, witch of cause had to
be with DKK Pedigree. I found the right place and the dog was
reserved with Kennel Vindelsbo . I had to wait for about 4 month
before I could bring her home with me. Vindelsbo Darkita became the
beginning of my Kennel, she had 3 litter and in all 20 lovely
puppies
I have tried to base on health, working capacity
and mental strong dogs, when I had to choose the fathers to my
puppies. And that was everything my female is in cable of . I have
spend a lot of time to study witch male dog I could use,
My puppies learn a lot, they had experience the real world outside the dog ground, before they had to
go to their new owners, they have been on trips in the car, been in
the woods and on the beach. They have also learnt the sounds of a
vacuum – cleaner and other things witch could make noise in the
house. They have said hello to kids, older people and other dogs. It
have made the puppies fit to leave the nest.
I think it is hard to find the right family to
the dog, I think every breeder have been in that situation, were the
buyer promise everything to make it right for the dog. But It is not
many of them there can keep up with their promise. But there is also
happy times, where the buyer is so happy for the dog and everything
are going so well.

There have been a lot of talk about the
Rottweiler in all time and bad publicity. Therefore it is important
that we breeder are thinking us about that before we decide to make
a litter puppies. At first: are our own female fit to enter breeding
? We shall to be critic about our own dog, what we will do better
and from that find a good partner. I mean, that it should be natural
that the Danish dogs are mental tested, have the Rottweiler breed
prize, thereby the weak dogs are being removed, those who not are
fit to breed. It will also bee a good thing if there being using
male dogs from another country shall they be
awarded a Breed Prize in their home country.
If all these are in order should there be a good chance to bring
these qualities are being carried on to the next generation. Many of
us will like to use the Rotweiler to training, in the same time
shall it function as a family dog. Know it is not easy to be a
Rotweiler to day, there are high demands, therefore it is important
for us breeder to take a good look around, who by these puppies and
what are they being used for and are they fit to take care of the
Rotweiler. It is important to tell other and new buyers how to take
care of the Rottweiler, it will be a good thing to read Åge
Christensen ( Rottweiler – The Dogs Landrovers) When this is
said is the Rottweiler as well function a lovely dog, it is also
easy to work with and always loyal to its family. The Rottweiler is
a very personal dog.
